Tacray Talos Folding Knife ¨C 5-Layer Copper Steel

A lightweight everyday folder built around a monoblock composite handle, a copper-clad steel blade, and a smooth, fully ambidextrous locking system. TALOS combines structural rigidity, practical ergonomics, and materials that develop character with use.

Integral G10 / Micarta Handle

The handle is CNC-machined from a single block of G10 or Micarta, eliminating backspacers, sandwich gaps, and unnecessary flex. High-hardness steel liners are precisely fitted inside the monoblock to provide a rigid structure without the weight of a full metal frame. The ergonomic profile follows the natural curve of a closed grip, with chamfered edges, a smooth thumb ramp, and a finger choil for controlled choke-up handling.

5-Layer Copper Steel Blade

The 5-layer construction uses a 10Cr15MoV core surrounded by real copper cladding. The steel core balances edge sharpness and everyday durability, while the exposed copper gradually develops its own oxidation through actual carry and use. No two blades will age exactly the same way.

Crossbar Lock + Ceramic Bearings

Ceramic ball bearings provide a smooth, consistent action for opening and closing, while the fully ambidextrous Crossbar Lock delivers a secure lockup with minimal blade play. The lock can be disengaged from either side, allowing the blade to drop smoothly with a simple thumb pull.

Deep Carry Clip & Lanyard Hole

Two stainless steel pocket clips are included for left- or right-hand carry. An integrated lanyard hole is machined directly into the rear of the monoblock handle, giving you the option to add a paracord, bead, or nothing at all. A nylon knife pouch is included for additional carry and storage options.
